Moroccan pillows — often called floor cushions or zouaq — are a cornerstone of traditional Moroccan home decor. Ours are handwoven in Morocco from wool, cotton, or agave silk, with the bold colors and geometric patterns the region is known for.
Berber-style pillows lean into wool and bold geometric patterns, woven using techniques passed down through generations. Kilim pillows are cut from flat-woven kilim rugs, so each one carries a slightly different pattern since no two rug sections are identical. Many pieces also feature hand embroidery — geometric motifs and traditional patterns worked by hand rather than machine.
Beyond their look, these pillows are built to be used: comfortable as extra seating, a backrest for floor seating, or a decorative accent on a sofa or armchair. Expect natural texture and slight color variation from piece to piece — thats the handmade process, not a flaw.
